Patti Marat, Nurse Practitioner obtained her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2007, where her practicum areas were Research, OBGYN, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Pulmonology, ENT, Orthopedics, Radiology, and Education. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Georgia in 2003, and her Associate of Science in Nursing from Coastal Georgia Community College in 1996.
Before joining AppleCare, she was Nurse Practitioner with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Health Unit.
Patti serves at the Henri Woodman Clinic at the Coastal Medical Access Project to provide healthcare to uninsured residents of Camden, Glynn and McIntosh counties. Her volunteer work includes serving as a medical volunteer for the Special Olympics, the Multiple Sclerosis Walk, Wendy’s/American Red Cross Flood Relief Project, and a volunteer work for Amity House (for battered women) collection drive and Glynn County Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic.
Patti is a member of Sigma Theta Tau- Nursing Honor Society.
